Details etched in efficiency.
Complemented by a team of dedicated experts, our commitment guarantees your design undergoes a meticulous transformation, resulting in high-definition prints of superior quality.

Data validation.
When data are supplied, they must be checked for completeness and quality before they are further processed. This operation is called “pre-flight check“. Tecnogravura has pre-flight software to guarantee the optimal condition of the data, thereby enhancing the efficiency and reliability of subsequent workflow stages. During the pre-flight phase, the following points are checked: completeness of all files and fonts required, effective resolution, color space, compression, the file format of the images provided, colors used, file format and version, hairlines and overprint attributes in the artwork files provided, among others.

In our repro process, we optimize and streamline the data to be accurately reproduced during printing.
This includes the creation of separations/special color channels, checking and adjusting minimum tone values, creating trappings, checking the line widths and applying the color profile, and many others.
Aligned with our clients’ machinery’s specific requirements and operational needs, we expertly prepare the cylinder layout, commonly referred to as Step and Repeat. This entails duplicating and arranging the primary design in a systemic grid or pattern. This method guarantees precise alignment and consistent spacing between repeated images, ultimately fostering a cost-effective and streamlined production process.

Color Management.
Color management is a crucial step of the process. That is why we carry out color correction with the latest software, which allows us to simulate the printing properties of different colors using spectral data.
The so-called fingerprints are created in advance to meet the requirements of color reproduction and create a realistic simulation of the expected result. The purpose of the “test prints” is to record a particular combination of variables in order to be able to derive the general rules in the form of color profiles.
The proofing process is paramount, acting as a key quality checkpoint and ensuring client satisfaction.
